The National Football League announced Monday that the upcoming NFL Draft would feature in-person draft selections. In addition, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will be announcing picks in-person and a limited amount of fans will be allowed to attend the event.
The pandemic is not over as many are still battling COVID-19 in their own lives and as a nation the need for caution is still there, but the return of sports and the return of competition shows that the nation is healing and we are on way back to normal life.
With news of Texas and Mississippi lifting Covid-19 restrictions, hope is on the horizon. Alabama governor, Kay Ivey, announced she is lifting the state’s Covid-19 restrictions April 9th and does not intend on extending it beyond that date.
