Former Alabama tight end, Miller Forristall, after being signed and released by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent, has been named a member of the Titans practice squad. Forristall, though never a featured piece of Alabama's offense, utilized his opportunities when given making some big plays for the Crimson Tide in crucial moments over his five-year career.

In five seasons with the Crimson Tide, Forristall caught 44 passes for 504 yards and five touchdowns, displaying excellent hands along the way.

A favorite throughout the preseason among Titans fans, Forristall played well in his few opportunities, producing 4 catches for 36 yards and a touchdown on five targets. Though down their best option at the position from a year ago in Jonnu Smith who departed for New England in free agency, Tennessee already featured solid depth and versatility at the position with Geoff Swaim, Anthony Firkser and Luke Stocker, so finding a roster spot was a tough sell for Foristall to begin with.

A solid pass catcher with great hands, Forristall was often outshined by his company at Alabama, but still has above average athleticism for the position. If he can continue to develop his run blocking ability, Forristall could very likely take the route of Firkser who also was a member of the practice squad before making the team.
