Every American should be familiar with Mount Rushmore, the monument in South Dakota where the faces of presidents George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson and Teddy Roosevelt were carved into the side of a mountain.  It's name is often used as a metaphor for the four individuals that represent the best in any given area life.  LeBron James recently stated that he wants to eventually be considered a member of basketball's Mount Rushmore.  That got us thinking about which players in Alabama football's history would make its Mount Rushmore.

There are plenty of candidates.  Don Hutson revolutionized the position of reciever in both the college and professional games.  Ozzie Newsome was similar as one of the first pass-catching specialists at tight end.  John Hannah is one of the greatest offensive linemen of all-time.

Into quarterbacks? Take your pick of Joe Namath, Bart Starr or Kenny Stabler.  Into linebackers? Derrick Thomas, Lee Roy Jordan, Cornelius Bennett and Rolando McClain give you planty of options.  Running backs more your fancy? Johnny Musso, Bobby Humphrey, Shaun Alexander, Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson could all make you happy.

On Houston and Huber tomorrow, we'll be revealing our version of Bama's Mount Rushmore.  Be part of the show by calling in or interacting with us on Twitter, and give us your players that should be on Bama's version of the monument.
