2027 Cornerback Nash Johnson III De-Commits From Alabama
2027 cornerback Nash Johnson III has de-committed from Alabama and head coach Kalen DeBoer, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

Johnson, a 6-foot, 170-pound cornerback from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia, had been committed to Alabama since October 4, when he originally chose the Crimson Tide over the Georgia Bulldogs, the Kentucky Wildcats, and the Vanderbilt Commodores. He is originally from Atlanta, Georgia.
Johnson is rated as a three-star cornerback, the No. 71 cornerback, and the No. 88 player in the class, according to 247 Sports. Johnson does not currently have an official visit scheduled to Alabama, but does have visits scheduled to Auburn, Miami, Tennessee, and Ole Miss over the Summer. He holds over 30 offers and took an unofficial visit to Tennessee in late March.
Alabama is down to just three commitments in the 2027 recruiting class:
Four-star QB Trent Seaborn
Three-star TE Colt Lumpris
Three-star TE Oakley Keegan
While Keegan has shut down his recruitment, Lumpris is currently trending away from Alabama since his commitment on December 9.
