Alabama Makes Late Friday Night Addition Via Transfer Portal
The Alabama Crimson Tide made its second addition of the day to the offensive line via the transfer portal, with former Texas offensive tackle Nick Brooks committing to the Crimson Tide, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

Brooks, a 6-foot-7, 349-pound offensive tackle, attended Grayson High School and is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was rated as a four-star offensive tackle prospect in the Texas Longhorns' 2025 recruiting class, ranked as the No. 132 overall prospect and the No. 6 interior offensive lineman in the class.
He just completed his freshman season at Texas, appearing in four games for the Longhorns. He made his collegiate debut against Sam Houston. He started three games for Texas against Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, against Kentucky on the road, and against Mississippi State on the road.
Brooks is the 14th transfer to commit to the Crimson Tide from the transfer portal, and is the fourth offensive line commitment for Alabama via the transfer portal.
