The Northside Rams (4-0) will host the Haleyville Lions (1-3) on Friday night. Last year the Rams beat the Lions in a blowout of 32-7. The Rams are also undefeated against the Lions, winning all four of their past matchups.

The Rams have won all four games this year with none being close, except for their game on the road at Cleburne County two weeks ago, with the Rams winning that game 13-7.

Last week the Rams were on the road at Curry, with the Rams beating Curry 40-0. 34 of the 40 points came in the first half for the Rams. Senior quarterback Braden Green had a couple of touchdowns, including a 40-yard touchdown pass to junior wide receiver Logan Sullivan.

Green and first year head coach Robbie Jones hope to lead the Rams to another victory against the Lions, and go 5-0 on the season.

The Lions are 1-3 this year, with their only victory being a comeback victory against Cordova two weeks ago.

The Lions record does show three losses, but those games could have easily been wins. Their first loss was to Rogers, losing 10-16 in overtime, and their other losses were both by 9 points.

The Lions are coming into this game against the Rams after losing at home against Dora 12-21.

First year head coach of the Lions, Bo Culver, hopes to turn around last weeks loss into a victory against the Rams.

The game will be played Friday night at Northside Stadium and kickoff will be at 7 p.m. CST.
