On3 Sports Predicts 2025 All-Americans From Alabama
It's never too early to look ahead to the 2025 college football season - one that is highly anticipated following the introduction of the 12-team College Football Playoff in 2024. Alabama will look to return to the mountaintop following a disappointing 2024 season that ended in a Reliaquest Bowl loss to Michigan to cap the season at 9-4, ending the 10-win season streak dating back to 2008.

To return to glory in the SEC, Alabama will need its returning stars from 2024 to step into bigger roles in 2025. Alabama will begin preparation for 2025 with the first day of spring football practice on Monday, March 3.
In 2024, Alabama had just one All-American - offensive lineman Tyler Booker. The Crimson Tide did have four First Team All-SEC members - wide receiver Ryan Williams, offensive lineman Tyler Booker, linebacker Jihaad Campbell, and safety Malachi Moore.
The only returning member from that list is Ryan Williams.
Williams led the Crimson Tide in receiving yards and touchdowns in 2024, with 865 yards and eight receiving touchdowns.
Williams is expected to take a big leap in year No. 2, potentially being the first 1,000-yard receiver since Jameson Williams and John Metchie III in 2022.
If Williams takes the leap, he will likely be an All-American candidate from Alabama in 2025. On3 Sports predicted the 2025 All-Americans, and showed a lot of faith in Alabama's young superstar, naming him one of two "Way Too Early" 2025 All-Americans.
Ohio State superstar Jeremiah Smith joined Williams as the only wide receivers on the list.
In addition to Williams, Alabama defensive end LT Overton was the only other member of the Crimson Tide to appear on the "too early" All-American list.
Overton was a force to be reckoned with along the Alabama defensive front in 2024, totaling 42 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, nine quarterback hurries, and one pass breakup.
On3 Sports expects Overton to leap into an All-American defensive lineman in 2025.
Notably, only five players on the list are not from the SEC or the Big Ten, showcasing the dominance those two conferences have put on with recruiting and developing.
