Former Alabama center Parker Brailsford is Alabama's first player off the board in the fifth round, with the Cleveland Browns taking Brailsford with the sixth pick in the fifth round, No. 146 overall, in the 2026 NFL draft.

Brailsford, a 6-foot-2, 289-pound center originally from Mesa, Arizona, started 14 games for the Washington Huskies in 2023, when Washington played for the CFP National Championship. He followed head coach Kalen DeBoer to Alabama, where he became a two-year starter for the Crimson Tide at center. He started all 13 games for Alabama at center in 2024 and started 14 games for the Crimson Tide in 2025, missing only the Tide's victory over Eastern Illinois with a lower-body injury.

 

The Crimson Tide's permanent captain in 2025 was named Third-Team All-SEC by conference coaches after the 2025 season, and was named to watch lists for multiple awards in 2025, including the Lombardi Award, the Remington Trophy, and the Outland Trophy.
