TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- It was an odd game full of lightning delays and odd play from both the Crimson Tide and the Seminoles, but Alabama overcame a 21-6 deficit to defeat Florida State 50-36.

Starting quarterback Keelon Russell had, by far, his best day as the Crimson Tide's starting quarterback, completing 77% of his passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns. Russell also ran the ball three times for 56 yards and had a 57-yard scamper for a touchdown for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama also ran the ball effectively, rushing for 247 yards on 36 carries (averaging 6.9 yards per carry) and three scores.
