Newark, N.J. - The Crimson Tide's incredible season came to an end on Saturday night in Newark, New Jersey, at the hands of the Duke Blue Devils. The Blue Devils held Alabama to its second-lowest point total of the season, 65, in the East Regional Finals. The Tide was just 9-20 on layups and 8-32 from three-point range in the 20-point loss to the Blue Devils, meanwhile, Duke had four players score double-digit points while shooting 46 percent from three-point range. The Tide was on the opposite side of the three-point barrage that Alabama ended BYU's season with.

It was the final college game for several key Alabama contributors from this season. Mark Sears ends his Alabama career by leading the Crimson Tide to three Sweet 16 appearances, two Elite Eight appearances, and a Final Four appearance. Grant Nelson ends his Alabama career with two Sweet 16 appearances, two Elite Eight appearances, and one Final Four. Clifford Omoruyi and Chris Youngblood end their one-year Alabama careers with a Sweet 16 and an Elite Eight.
Additionally, several Alabama players will be faced with NBA draft decisions, including true freshman starter Labaron Philon.
