TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - After finishing non-conference play with a 20-7 record, including significant wins over No. 22 Washington and No. 15/17 Virginia Tech. No. 23 Alabama softball kicks off Southeastern Conference play this week with a highly anticipated home series against No. 19 Mississippi State.

The series against the Bulldogs will take place at Rhoads Stadium, starting on Friday, March 14. The first night of the series will feature a doubleheader, with the first game beginning at 2 p.m. CT. The theme for Friday’s game is “Wedding Night,” and fans are encouraged to wear their dressiest Alabama gear.

Game two of the doubleheader will be significant, as it marks Kali Heivilin’s Senior Day. The standout senior will be honored in a pregame ceremony, celebrating her contributions to the program.

The series will conclude on Sunday, March 16, with the final game scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CT. The theme for Sunday’s game is Big Al Kids Club Day, featuring a special giveaway of trading cards for fans.
