Reggie Ragland, Kenyan Drake & Ryan Kelly Will Represent Alabama at SEC Media Days 2015
Three seniors will represent The University of Alabama when it arrives at SEC Media Days on Wednesday. The Southeastern Conference announced that LB Reggie Ragland, RB Kenyan Drake, and OL Ryan Kelly would attend the event for the Crimson Tide.
You might be hard-pressed to find three players that mean more to their team's success than this trio.
Ragland, who finished second on the team in tackles after a breakout season in 2014, will be the leader of Nick Saban's defense in 2015. He'll be a centerpiece for one of the strongest front-sevens in college football.
Drake, the electric runningback, will return from a season-ending injury suffered early last year. With Alabama's sudden lack of experience in the backfield, Drake might have the biggest impact of anyone on Lane Kiffin's offense. Not only will he be a primary ball-carrier alongside Derrick Henry, but his explosiveness will create major matchup problems when he shifts out wide.
Cam Robinson might receive most of fanfare on the offensive line because of his tremendous talent at a young age, but Kelly will anchor a unit that will need to keep pressure off an inexperienced quarterback early in the year. The two-year starter enters the season as a leading Rimington Award candidate.
Alabama will be joined by Kentucky, Missouri and Arkansas on day three of SEC Media Days.
