Four-star, 2027 shooting guard RJ Moore has scheduled a visit with Nate Oats and the University of Alabama, according to Joe Tipton of On3.

 

Moore is listed as a 6-foot-7, 295-pound shooting guard who plays for Ambassador Christian and is from Charlotte, North Carolina. Moore is ranked as a four-star prospect as the No. 40 overall prospect, the No. 8 shooting guard, and the No. 1 player in North Carolina. He has an extensive offer list, with 16 total offers:

While he is taking a visit to Alabama, the Crimson Tide has yet to offer Moore, according to Rivals. His visit to the Crimson Tide will be on September 25, and he has one other visit scheduled to Rutgers on September 3. According to MaxPreps, he averaged 18.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while playing 18.6 minutes per game.

 

Alabama does not have any commitments in the 2027 recruiting class yet, but Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide signed five players in the 2026 class, including Jaxon Richardson, Qayden Samuels, and Tarris Bouie, who have all enrolled at Alabama already. Anderson Diaz was a commit for the Crimson Tide in 2027 prior to his reclassification to the 2026 class. Alabama also signed 7-foot center TJ St. Louis.
