The injury bug keeps making it's way to the Alabama Crimson Tide this off season with outside linebacker Terrell Lewis tore his right ACL and underwent surgery on Monday.

“Terrell Lewis suffered a torn right ACL last week while training," Nick Saban said in a statement earlier Tuesday. "He underwent successful surgery today, and a time-frame for his return is unknown at this time."

Lewis was looking forward to a breakout season this year after missing 10 games after suffering an upper arm injury in the season opener against Florida State. His performance in the College Football Playoffs against Clemson and Georgia had many fans excited for the future of the 254 pound linebacker out of Washington D.C.

So what does this injury mean for the rest of Alabama's linebacker core?

Rodney Orr of TiderInsider joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss the injury and how will it affect the linebacker core this upcoming season and which linebacker will use this opportunity to shine. He also gives a update on Alabama on the recruiting trail.
