Kalen DeBoer Updates Ryan Williams Health After he Left FSU Loss
Alabama sophomore wide receiver Ryan Williams, while he wasn't having a career day against the Florida State Seminoles, was allowing other Alabama receivers to make plays when Alabama needed them, and the Crimson Tide needed them a lot in the second half.

Germie Bernard had a career night with eight catches for 146 yards while the attention was on Williams. Williams wasn't completely quiet, as he caught five passes for 30 yards on the night. However, Germie Bernard was the driving factor that made the offense go.
Williams may have to wait to catch his first touchdown of the 2025 season, however, as he took a nasty hit where his head hit the ground late in Alabama's 31-17 loss to Florida State. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said that Williams suffered a concussion in the Tide's loss to the Seminoles.
Williams does not currently have a timeline for recovery, as the injury happened late in the game on Saturday night. Alabama guard Jaeden Roberts suffered a concussion and missed three weeks of fall camp, while other players have suffered concussions and been back in a week.
The big hope is, obviously, that Williams is okay, but for continuity with Ty Simpson, Williams will need to return to the lineup sooner rather than later.
Alabama takes on ULM as it searches for its first win of the season next Saturday, September 6.
