This isn't the 70-year-old's first appearance on the mound for the Tide, his last time out for UA's first pitch came in 2018 against Southern Miss. Sporting a blistering 0.00 ERA in Crimson, Saban will try to right the ship for Bama as it holds a 3-4 record for non-weekend matchups.

Saban isn't shy about his love for the sport of baseball. He's made the trip out to The Joe for a first pitch on multiple occasions and is known to be seen wearing gear for his favorite New York Yankees when away from the football field.

Tuesday's game with South Alabama is scheduled at 6 p.m. and can be found on SEC Network+. The Tide has a 13-9 record overall in 2022 with a 1-2 record in conference play.
