It's the second First-Team All-SEC honor in Barker's career at Alabama. She was also named First-Team All-SEC after the 2023-2024 women's basketball season.

Barker led the Crimson Tide in scoring with 17.3 points per game. Since her return from injury on January 26, she has been averaging more points per game than any basketball player, men's or women's, in Tuscaloosa with 19.8 points per game. She did so while shooting 50.6 percent from the field, contributing 3.8 assists and two steals per game. She is tied for the second-most rebounds on the team, averaging 6.2 rebounds per game.

She was the fifth player at Alabama to surpass 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 250 assists with the Crimson Tide.

Barker will add her second First-Team All-SEC honor to a loaded trophy case from the 2024-2025 season. She was also named to the Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Midseason team, Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year Award, and Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Year Watchlist.

Barker's highest-scoring performance came on January 26 in her first game returning from injury. Despite the Crimson Tide falling 66-64 to Vanderbilt, Barker scored a career-high 36 points.
