The SEC Tournament at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN tipped off on Wednesday with Ole Miss and LSU coming out the winners of the opening round.

The No. 13 seed Ole Miss Rebels beat the No. 12 seed South Carolina Gamecocks 67-61 in the opening game of the tournament. Rebels' guard Amaree Abram led Ole Miss in scoring with 20 points off the bench while Gamecocks' forward Gregory Jackson led all scorers with 24 points. Ole Miss and South Carolina split their regular season series 1-1.

Ole Miss plays No. 5 seed Tennessee in the second round on Thursday, 2 p.m. CT on the SEC Network. Tennessee won the regular season matchup between the two, 63-59.

The No. 14 seed LSU Tigers beat the No. 11 seed Georgia Bulldogs, 72-67, in the second matchup of the tournament. Tigers' forward KJ Williams led all scorers with 18 points. LSU avenged their lone regular season game against the Bulldogs, which ended in a 65-63 loss for the Tigers.

LSU plays No. 6 seed Vanderbilt on Thursday in the night cap of the second round at 8 p.m. CT on the SEC Network. LSU won the one regular season matchup between the two teams, 84-77.

Along with the Ole Miss vs. Tennessee and LSU vs. Vanderbilt games tomorrow, there will be two other games being played in the second round. The first game is No. 9 seed Mississippi State vs. No. 8 seed Florida at noon CT on the SEC Network. The other game is No. 10 seed Arkansas vs. No. 7 seed Auburn at 6 p.m. CT, also on the SEC Network.

No. 1 seed Alabama will play on Friday at noon CT against the Mississippi State and Florida winner. Coverage will be on Tide 100.9 FM and the Tide 100.9 app, which is free to download in the App Store.
