Wednesday night madness (Or as Tide Hoops pregame show host Hunter Johnson calls it, Wednesday Night Sadness) has wrapped up in Nashville for the SEC Tournament. The four lowest seeds in the tournament matched up against one another, with the Missouri Tigers taking on the Georgia Bulldogs and the Vanderbilt Commodores taking on the Arkansas Razorbacks.

In the first game of the tournament, Vanderbilt took a 14-point lead into halftime against Arkansas. The Razorbacks worked to rebound though, and had a lead late in the contest. Vanderbilt forced overtime in a back-and-forth matchup thanks to a field goal by Ezra Manjon.

However, Arkansas was more prepared than they were last time they went to overtime. They handled their business this time, getting the 90-85 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores. the Razorbacks will play against the South Carolina Gamecocks on Thursday.

In the second game, Missouri, who was winless in regular season SEC play, took on Georgia. The Bulldogs were many people's favorite to win the game.

That pick looked to be in jeopardy, with the Tigers putting the Bulldogs on the ropes in the second half. However, the Bulldogs were able to get it done, thanks to this shot by Justin Hill.

Georiga's second-half comeback handed Missouri their 19th SEC loss of the season, officially making the Tigers a winless team since December 2023.

Georgia advances to play the Florida Gators, They've played the Gators twice this season, with an 0-2 record in the regular season. They'll have a tough test ahead of them if they hope to advance past Thursday.

Alabama will play the winner of Florida and Georgia on Friday in the final game of the quarterfinals.
