Senior Bowl Practice Day 2: Grading Jalen Milroe
Mobile, Ala. - Day two of Senior Bowl practice has wrapped up, and another day for former Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe to try to improve his NFL draft stock has come and gone.

Milroe's first day was less than stellar, completing just two passes during the period before the 11-on-11 portion and, at one point, missing eight straight passes. Milroe needed a much better second day to save his week at the Senior Bowl.
Day two was better for Milroe, taking more positive steps than negative, but still, I would grade Milroe's second day as a C+.
Milroe did have a few "wow" type of plays, including a big completion down the field to TCU wide receiver Jack Bech.
Milroe also showcased routes he has good chemistry with, making a needle-threading type throw to UCF running back RJ Harvey on a wheel route.
The Iron Bowl connection was working on Tuesday as well, with Milroe finding Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter in good positioning.
With the good, however, came some bad. Milroe airmailed a pass to Delaware running back Marcus Yarns five yards over his head. Yarns was running a rumple flat concept.
In addition, Milroe one-hopped a ball short to Arian Smith of Georgia, who had a drop issue again today.
One of the worse throws Milroe made on Tuesday was an interception following a would-be sack.
The silver lining for the former Alabama signal caller is that these drills are not designed to allow quarterbacks to scramble, resulting in no extended plays by guys who thrive by using their legs, such as Jalen Milroe, Jaxson Dart, and Riley Leonard.
One anonymous scout said of Milroe on Tuesday, "The ceiling is hall-of-fame level. The floor is a fireable offense for a general manager and coach. Where does he fall in between? It will depend on the system goes to." This scout graded Milroe out to a C- so far this week in Mobile.
Another scout graded Jalen Milroe's performance on Tuesday as a C.
After talking with the scouts, I learned that the former Alabama signal caller is currently being graded anywhere from top-20 to a late-day two pick in the NFL draft.
Will Milroe bounce back?
