It was a calm Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as the Crimson Tide trounced their annual FCS opponent before two more SEC games to end the regular season.

Nick Saban's message Monday afternoon was rather clear: sustaining consistency in performance is what the Crimson Tide will work to do moving forward.

The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide welcomed fans back into Bryant-Denny Stadium at full capacity for the first time since 2019 and put on a sleepy, yet dominant, performance against the Mercer Bears. The Tide went 3&out in consecutive possessions causing concern over focus levels but Alabama got things on track en route to a 48-14 victory.
