It’s not clickbait. Mark my words because one day, this is going to happen. Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is a city that I have lived in, off and on, since the 80s. Oh, how I love Alabama and, in particular, my Alabama Crimson Tide.

Alabama Coach Nick Saban often says things that get plenty of attention. In this case, it might be one of the best speeches the GOAT has given. Coach Saban even had a few words about former Crimson Tide star wideout, Henry Ruggs III. If you haven't seen it yet, here it is.

"WE WANT A POSITIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIP" Those are the words of Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox, this morning on the Steve & DC Show on WFFN-FM (95.3 THE BEAR). The mayor also said "We're not going to back down."

The United States Football League. A spring league designed to give football starved fans something to eat during the offseason. The entire league is moving here. That's right. Alabama. Hosting the entire season of games. The U.S.F.L. is significant for several things in the history of modern football in America. For example, the league signed three straight Heisman Trophy winners.

As a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, we are so blessed. Sometimes we take our incredibly fortunate situation for granted. I'm talkin about having the GOAT on our sideline every week in the fall. I don't care what you think about politics or former President Trump. This is good stuff no matter who you voted for in the last election. Alabama football TRUMPS all things political. As a Tide fan, I'm most focused on those puppy dogs from down in Georgia.

Nick Saban changed how I, as a diehard Alabama fan, look at college recruiting. Yeah, I don't really worry about it anymore. This goes back to the year that Saban swore he wasn't gonna leave the Miami Dolphins. Too bad so sad for them. I just have plenty of faith that we are gonna see plenty of the TOP recruits in Tuscaloosa each year.
