The All England Club announced today that it would be cancelling the 2020 Wimbledon tournament due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. The last time the tournament was cancelled was 1945 for World War II. The tournament was supposed to take place from June 29 to July 12. Wimbledon follows suit with the NCAA Tournament, the Masters Golf Tournament, the Olympics, the NHL and so much more by cancelling or altering plans because of COVID-19.
