The Truck Series will wave the green flag at approximately 11:30 am on Saturday before an expected 3:00 pm start for the Xfinity Series. On Sunday, the Cup Series plans to go green around 1:00 pm, with weather for the weekend beginning to look more and more promising as Hurricane Ian treks east.

According to the current weather models, Talladega is expected to stay dry on Friday, with light showers expected Saturday and clear skies on Sunday.

NASCAR should have no trouble fitting all three playoff races into the weekend, with plenty of daylight and dry track expected.
