Three Things You Need to Know about Georgia

For this second time this calendar year, the Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs get set for a big time battle inside Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Both teams scored comfortable wins against in-state rivals with Alabama demolishing Auburn 52-21 and Georgia dismantling Georgia Tech 45-21.

Alabama leads the series 39-25-4 and has won four in a row against the Bulldogs including the national championship game back in January.

Jake Fromm's Efficiency

Returning for his sophomore season, Georgia's signal caller has performed strongly down the stretch during the 2018 season.

Following a 36-16 loss to LSU on October 13, Fromm has completed 73 percent of his passes while tossing 11 touchdowns passes compared to just one interception.

The Warner Robbins, Georgia, native ranks second in the SEC and eighth nationally with a 69.1 percent completion rate and is percentage points behind Hutson Mason 's 67.9 percent completion rate record in 2014 and just 4.4 percent behind the conference record held by Kentucky's Tim Couch in 1998.

Uncertainty along the Offensive Line

While we'll all watch to see where Tua Tagovailoa and Jake Fromm will send the football, one of the biggest keys to the game could be how Georgia's offensive line fares against Alabama's defensive line.

For the Bulldogs, finding a cohesive unit on the offensive line has been an issue. Georgia has started four different combinations in the regular season.

While three of the five starters up front have started every game, the right guard position has seen Ben Cleveland, Cade Mays and Trey Hill each start at least two games at that position.

In addition to the shuffling, senior center Lamont Gaillard is the only starter who is an upperclassman.

Rodrigo Blakenship on the Money

When you see Georgia's man with the horn-rimmed glasses, you know that Rodrigo Blankenship is about to split the uprights.

The junior placekicker has successfully converted 19 of his 22 field goal attempts this season and has connected on a school record 147 straight PAT tries.

Don't expect many kickoff returns from Alabama as Blankenship is second in the FBS with 74 touchbacks out of 88 kickoffs.
