The Tide rose to the occasion, showcasing impressive momentum throughout the game and ultimately securing a 6-3 victory.

Setting the stage, Evan Brown No. 17, netted the first goal early in the first period, giving the Tide the lead. He remarked, "It was exciting to score first. I just wanted to have a strong first shift and get things rolling for the team. Fortunately, we executed a good play in their zone, and I was able to bury it." From that moment, fans were eager to see how the game would unfold.

The Tide finished the first period with a 2-1 advantage over the Tigers, thanks to Lou DeCola No.24, who scored shortly after Brown with an assist from Chris Moehlenpah No.22. The Tigers had a chance to score midway through the period, but Joe Hughes No. 26, used his speed and keen eye to block the puck. Although the Tigers managed to score later in the period, DeCola made a spectacular slide to thwart another scoring opportunity.

The second period kicked off with Parks Wallace No.33, netting the Tides third goal, executing a clever play with an assist from Finn Parkman No.3, that slipped the puck past the Tigers defense. The Tigers  responded later in the period, scoring to narrow the gap to 3-2, and soon after, the Tigers equalized at 3-3, keeping fans on the edge of their seats in this fiercely competitive matchup.

To regain the lead for the Tide, Max Sextro No.9 found the back of the net with just under four minutes remaining in the second period, igniting the crowd with a spectacular play. The Tide headed into the third period with a 4-3 advantage.

The third period began with Greyson Eble No.74, stepping up, scoring and assisting on a goal while the Tide played short-handed, pushing the lead to 5-3. Eble remarked, "I saw a guy lose the puck, I got my feet moving and it just happened." The intensity of the rivalry was evident throughout the night, showcasing the grit and determination of both teams.

As the clock wound down in the third period, Austin Fink No.4, put the game out of reach, securing a 6-3 victory for the Tide. Fink expressed his excitement, saying, "It was awesome. I was battling the whole game, and as time was running out, I seized the opportunity."

Despite facing 11 penalties that allowed the Tigers to score twice, goalie Hughes stood tall with 27 saves, limiting the Tigers to just three goals. He noted, "It felt good to save as many plays as possible, especially for the boys. Our opponents played great in front of me, and I have to give them credit. It felt great to give my team the best chance possible."

The Tide continued their winning streak, proudly claiming yet another Iron Cup trophy.
