Tuesday afternoon, 50 players across college basketball earned spots on the John R. Wooden Award watch list. This watchlist is for one of the most prestigious awards in the nation. The list included many notable names, such as Marcus Sasser, Jordan Walker, and Kris Murray. Amongst the star-filled list, the Tide's Brandon Miller also found a spot.

Brandon Miller has been stellar this season, recording 17 ppg and 10.5 rpg while shooting 50% from the field. The Tennessee native has also been an anchor on defense, wrecking havoc with his absurd length.

Miller headlines a recruiting class that has been excellent so far, with the Tide's four freshman all contributing to Alabama's two dominating wins. Miller's fellow five-star teammate, Jaden Bradley, has been a spark on both sides of the ball, scoring 10.5 points per game on 60% shooting while averaging two blocks and 1.5 steals per game. The two four-stars in the class have also greatly exceeded expectations. Forward Noah Clowney and guard Rylan Griffen have both provided an impact with scoring and energy either starting or off the bench.

Miller continues to be the game changer we all hoped for him to be this season, as he gets named to another award's watch list.

Watch Alabama and Brandon Miller play the first road game of the season against the South Alabama Jaguars at 9 p.m. CST on ESPNU/ESPN+.
