The Crimson Tide's wide receiver room is one of the biggest strengths of the 2025 roster, but this year's room has the potential to be the best wide receiving core in the country.

Between returning starters Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard, key additions like Isaiah Horton from the transfer portal and Jalen Hale from injury, and star freshmen already making plays in practice like Lotzier Brooks and Derek Meadows, (without even mentioning blossoming star Rico Scott), the Alabama wide receiver room appears as stacked as its been since 2019.

"We've got all the attributes in the room. Everybody can do everything," said veteran wide receiver Germie Bernard.

In addition to the previously mentioned group, Alabama is also returning "Mr. Reliable" Cole Adams from injury while flipping five-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe from defensive back to wide receiver.

"Young guys, we've got some ballers, man," Bernard said. "We really do."

While the Tide goes through a quarterback battle, each quarterback has looked good, thanks in part to the plethora of weapons at receiver. Whoever is named the starting quarterback will have plenty to work with on Saturdays in the fall.

“We’ve got a lot of speed. We’ve got a lot of strength. We’ve got guys who can block. We’ve got guys who can make contested catches. We’ve got guys who are tough. We’ve got guys that get open," Bernard said.

Of the 2,200 receiving yards collected by the Tide's wide receivers last season, 1,819 are returning to Alabama for 2025 (Ryan Williams, Germie Bernard, Cole Adams, Rico Scott, and Bubba Hampton).
