Northridge travels up the road to take on the Paul W. Bryant Stampede in what was arguably an unexpected game.

Northridge has had some success this season with a 5-3 regular season record while Bryant unfortunately picks up their seventh loss in a row.

Northridge came into this game against the Stampede off of a loss to Hueytown which ended in a score of 52-10.

Northridge scored first to start the game with a 2-yard touchdown run from Magnus Greimel which put Northridge up 7-0 after a 3-minute possession drive.

A very defensive first quarter as the Stampede forced Northridge to punt the ball away.

The Stampede attempted to get some points on the board with a field goal that was blocked by the Jaguars and recovered by Brylon Tubbs.

The Jaguars were able to score once again on a 14-yard run from Jacob Hall making the score 14-0.

Northridge scores again before the 2nd quarter is over which puts them up 21-0.

Paul W. Bryant didn’t back down with under two minutes left in the half, the Stampede took the handoff for an 86-yard touchdown.

Now 21-7, the Jaguars attempt to make it 24-7 going into halftime but unfortunately miss the field goal.

The Stampede were able to get another score towards the end of the 3rd quarter on a 71-yard touchdown run, putting them down by only one touchdown.

What seemed to be a comeback game for the Stampede came to an end with a touchdown from Brylon Tubbs to put the Jaguars up again by two touchdowns.

CJ Stinson for the Jaguars seals the game with an interception to give possession back to Northridge with just 2 minutes left in the game.

Northridge holds on to win this game 28-14 against the Paul W. Bryant Stampede.
