As Alabama prepares for Saturday's SEC Championship Game against Georgia, the offense knows it needs to get out to a fast start.

That never seemed to be much of an issue for this Crimson Tide team through the first two months, but that's changed in November. Even though Alabama continues to win by 20+ points every game, the last two saw the Tide tied with The Citadel, 10-10, and leading Auburn by just a field goal, 17-14, at the half.

"I think first, we need to go out there and we need start fast," quarterback Tua Tagovailoa told the media on Monday. "We haven't been starting fast through this second part of the season. Execution is definitely a big thing for our offense. We're going to have to find ways to execute and get the ball downfield, find creases within our running game, and I think we should be fine."

If the sophomore can pick up where he left off last time he faced Georgia in Atlanta, Alabama will be fine indeed. But that game won't have any impact on Saturday.

"What happened last year, happened last year. We're focused on what we can do as a team this year to accomplish the things we want to accomplish."
