Crimson Tide Eyes Homecoming as Tuscaloosa Native Enters Transfer Portal
The transfer portal is raging in college basketball, with over 700 players currently in the transfer portal.

While no one has entered from Alabama yet, the Crimson Tide is already hunting in the portal, according to head coach Nate Oats on Monday. One player who entered the portal on Wednesday could intrigue the Tide.
According to Joe Tipton of On3 Sports, Kennesaw State freshman guard Adrian Wooley has entered the transfer portal.
Wooley is familiar to Tuscaloosa, having played his high school basketball as a member of the Paul W. Bryant Stampede. During his freshman season at Kennesaw State, Wooley averaged 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, shooting 42 percent from three-point range.
He was named All-Conference USA First-Team and was the C-USA Rookie of the Year.
According to Tipton, a homecoming could be in the works for Wooley and the Crimson Tide, with both Alabama and the Tide's bitterest rival, the Auburn Tigers, expected to be involved in Wooley's recruitment from the portal.
Coming out of high school, Wooley was a three-star prospect, according to 247 Sports. He played his freshman season for former Alabama player and assistant coach Antoine Pettway.
In high school, Wooley held no Power Five offers but did receive interest from another former Alabama assistant, Bryan Hodgson, and the Arkansas State Redwolves. Hodgson is now the head coach at South Florida.
