The excitement going into spring practice was watching the quarterback battle between Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts.

This competition has been derailed at least for a few weeks or so with Tagovailoa injuring his first at practice with his time to return still remaining unknown.

His pass to wide receiver DeVonta Smith to win the Crimson Tide another national championship in a overtime thriller will probably go down as one of the greatest plays in Alabama history and there was a ton of hype on the potential he had going into this season.
