Two Alabama Baseball Players Enter Transfer Portal
Alabama Crimson Tide outfielder Owen Diodati and infielder Davis Heller have entered the transfer portal.
The two announcements come just one day after Alabama's baseball season officially ended after not receiving a bid to the postseason.
Diodati split time between the outfield and as designated hitter. In 157 at-bats this season, he had a .242 batting average, 38 hits, 26 runs batted in, eight home runs and drew 25 walks.

Infielder Davis Heller also is also looking for a new home. He announced his decision via social media on Tuesday morning.
The Ariz., native saw time in eight games this season and started in two. In his ten at-bats, he had a .200 batting average, two hits, one run batted in, and drew two walks.
Fielding-wise, the junior grabbed 16 catches (14 putouts, two assists), zero errors, and a perfect fielding percentage.
Alabama baseball finished its season 31-27 overall, 12-17 in conference play, and 2-2 in the 2022 SEC Tournament where the Tide lost to Florida 11-6 in the fourth round.
