NFL Draft Wraps With Two Alabama Players Taken in Seventh Round
The NFL draft wrapped up on Saturday afternoon, with two Alabama players being taken in the final round of the NFL draft. The Los Angeles Rams took Tim Keenan III with the 16th pick in the seventh round, No. 232 overall, and the New England Patriots took Jam Miller with the 29th pick in the seventh round, No. 245 overall.

Keenan was a multi-year starter for the Crimson Tide and a permanent captain for Kalen DeBoer and Alabama during the 2025 season. He finished his final season with Alabama with 16 tackles, three tackles for loss, and two sacks, including two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup. His top season came in 2024 with Alabama, when he played in all 13 games with 40 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one pass breakup. Keenan joins former Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson as Alabama players drafted by the Rams during the 2026 draft.
Miller was taken by the Patriots with the 245th pick in the NFL draft. He missed the start of the 2025 season for the Crimson Tide and dealt with injuries against Missouri, Auburn, and Georgia, but still finished as Alabama's leading rusher with 504 yards and three touchdowns. His top season with Alabama came in 2024, when he finished with 668 yards and seven touchdowns. Miller also caught 16 passes for 155 yards and a score in 2024.
