Two Northridge High School football stars, quarterback Rowdy Christensen and wide receiver Nick Sherman, have announced that they will be in attendance for Alabama's season opener against Middle Tennessee State.

Sherman is currently a senior, while Christensen is a junior.

Christensen threw for 313 passing yards and three touchdowns on 34 attempts, connecting with Sherman twice in the end zone in Northridge's 38-30 loss to Oak Mountain.

The Jaguars have two former players, offensive lineman Baker Hickman and Wilkin Formby, on the Alabama roster.

Northridge punter Anderson Green is currently the only Northridge Jaguar to be committed to Alabama in the 2024 class.

Northridge is on BYE this week, but is set to hit the field again at Hillcrest on Sept. 8.
