Ty Simpson Inks NIL Deal
The Alabama brand is one of the largest in college football, despite what many naysayers believe or claim.
NIL has perpetuated the ever-changing landscape of college football, but players are taking advantage of it and signing brand deals.
Even non-starters can get brand deals, and that's the case with one Crimson Tide signal caller.
According to On3 NIL and Pete Nakos, Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson is entering a multi-year deal with Harbin Automotive, and will get a new Ford or Chevrolet every couple of months in exchange for promoting Harbin.
Simpson is the backup quarterback and will likely have a leg up on the rest of the competition for the starting quarterback job for the 2025 season for Alabama.
Simpson has 15 completions for 214 yards in two seasons with the Crimson Tide. He also has 86 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
