Tyler Booker is the First First-Round Pick to Sign Rookie Contract
Rookies who were drafted last weekend have begun to sign their first NFL contracts, but first-round contracts typically take longer to complete.

That wasn't the case for Tyler Booker, who put pen to paper earlier on Friday on his NFL contract. The 12th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft has signed his contract with the Dallas Cowboys, according to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports.
Booker's contract, a standard four-year deal with a team option for a fifth year, is worth $22.5 million. Booker also gets a $13 million signing bonus with the Cowboys.
Booker will wear a familiar number with the Cowboys, being given No. 52 - the same number he wore in his three seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Booker spent three seasons with Alabama and was the Tide's premier starter at left guard for two of those seasons. Booker, a 6-foot-4, 321-pound offensive lineman from New Haven, Connecticut, was a four-star prospect from IMG Academy in high school. Booker signed with the Crimson Tide as a member of Alabama's 2022 recruiting class.
Booker committed to Alabama over Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, and Florida. During his time with Alabama, Booker won an SEC championship and played in the Tide's College Football Playoff appearance against the Michigan Wolverines in the Rose Bowl.
