Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen enters his final season in Fayetteville as one of the top quarterbacks in a conference that appears to have impressive depth in 2017.

As a first-year starter in 2016, Allen led the SEC with nearly 3,500 passing yards and finished second with 25 passing touchdowns. One of his best statistical performances actually came against top-ranked Alabama in early October. Allen threw for 400 yards and three touchdowns and found a lot of success against a tough defense, but his three interceptions were costly.

During his appearance at SEC Media Days, Allen talked about facing the Crimson Tide last year and also about working with Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts during the Manning Passing Academy.

LSU and Tennessee will take the podium next in Hoover. Stay tuned to Tide 102.9 for full coverage of SEC Media Days.
