Regardless of the outcome of the national championship game, one thing is for sure is Jalen Hurts deserves praise for his attitude and his hard work throughout the season and his career. He's earned the right to make the decision what he wants to do next with his career, whether that's staying at quarterback or moving positions.

While Tua Tagovailoa waits in the green room, the question heading into the spring is will Hurts still be running the show? The Alabama Crimson Tide didn't recruit a quarterback in this 2018 class, but are currently looking into a grad transfer.

This move raises an eyebrow into what plans Alabama have for the quarterbacks on the roster. This could be an insurance policy for both, this could mean they have no faith in Mac Jones and need a vaulable third string, the mindset of losing Tua or Jalen if they don't get the starting position, or even Jalen potentially moving positions.

Barrett Sallee of CBS Sports and host of SEC Smothered and Covered joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss what the future potentially holds for Jalen Hurts and the reason behind Alabama's pursuit at a grad transfer. He also takes us around the world of the SEC grading the new coaches in the conference.
