This weekend, the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers meet for the 82nd time for the Iron Bowl that will determine the winner of the SEC West.

Coach Nick Saban is 7-3 against the Tigers and holds a 3-2 record at Jordan-Hare Stadium that included the infamous "Kick 6" that gave the Tigers Coach Gus Malzahn his first win of the in-state rivalry.

Before Malzahn, it was head coach Gene Chizik and quarterback Cam Newton defeating the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. Chizik and Newton would go on to win the SEC Championship against South Carolina and defeat the Oregon Ducks in the BCS National Championship game.

Former Alabama defensive back Will Lowery played in that Iron Bowl game and he joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss the importance of the rivalry, break down this year's match-up, and talk about the game from a player's perspective.

For Lowery's analysis on the Iron Bowl make sure you watch the video above the article. Don't miss The Game with Ryan Fowler weekday afternoons from 2-6 p.m.
