WATCH: Nick Saban Postgame Press Conference After Win Over Mississippi State
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Alabama coach Nick Saban was mostly smiles after the Crimson Tide's 31-6 win over Mississippi State on Saturday.
For the eighth straight time in the series, Alabama beat the Bulldogs and, at least in the most recent edition, it was another dominant road performance for the Crimson Tide.
"We're always pleased with a win, especially on the road," Saban said. "Mississippi State played a really good game. They have a really good team."
Saban discussed a few pertinent topics from the game, notably the performances from the Crimson Tide's defensive line and running back Derrick Henry.
Alabama (9-1, 6-1 SEC) sacked Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott -- with numerous other hits on rushing attempts on top of that -- while Henry rushed for 204 yards -- his second straight game over 200 yards and the third time in four games -- and two scores on 22 carries in the win.
On a lighter note, he explains how he received a cut on his left cheek during the game. (See the video below.)
Since taking over at Alabama, Saban has only lost to Mississippi State once -- his inaugural season in 2007. He was 5-0 against the Bulldogs while serving as head coach at LSU from 2000-04.
