Just two days after suffering a thumb injury during practice, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was back on the field for spring camp.

The sophomore had a glove on his throwing hand - the same one that he injured on Tuesday - so it was impossible to tell if he had any kind of wrap or brace on the thumb. During the short media viewing session, Tagovailoa was seen going through a few drills while talking with Jeff Allen, the head athletic trainer for the Crimson Tide.

It's a quick return to the field but his limited availability is not. This is what head coach Nick Saban said after he suffered the injury.

"I think in a few days Tua will probably be able to do some things, but when you hurt your thumb on your throwing hand it's kind of hard to grip the ball. So I think that's going to be the issue is whether he's able to throw it."

Check out the video below to see what Tagovailoa was able to do during the early part of practice.
