TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- With No. 12 Alabama opening SEC play this weekend on the road at Kentucky, the SEC availability report is back for a third season. Reports will be released by the SEC at roughly 7:00 p.m. CT every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during conference matchups, with a final availability report released roughly 90 minutes prior to kickoff on Saturdays.

UPDATE: 7:53 p.m. CT

According to sources, starting right guard Michael Carroll allegedly suffered a concussion during practice, leading to his "doubtful" designation on the Wednesday night availability report. There are currently no long-term concerns about his status, with a small chance he could play this weekend if he clears protocol.
