Where Does Alabama MBB Land in a Way too Early Top 25?

The Florida Gators capped off a historic season for the SEC by defeating the Houston Cougars to claim the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship. With the Gators' title victory, the hunt for the 2025-26 National Championship begins today for every team in college basketball.

With that comes a way-too-early top-25 ranking. The Tide had its season ended in the Elite Eight by the Duke Blue Devils, but with the recent success of Nate Oats and the Tide, Alabama is expected to perform well once again next season.

On3 Sports released a way-too-early top-25, and if it holds, the Tide will be back in the Final Four next season as one of the four best teams in the country.

The 2026 Final Four is set to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, during the first weekend of April. If the Tide hopes to return to the Final Four in 2026, it will face a tough SEC season, with five SEC teams ranked in the way-too-early top 25. A handful of notable teams, such as Texas A&M and Texas, were not ranked.
