Alabama's Will Anderson needs no introduction.

College football's best defender by a wide margin, and possibly the best the Crimson Tide have seen since the legendary Derrick Thomas, Anderson has been a force to be reckoned with since he stepped on the field in 2020.

With the Hampton, GA native's 16th sack of the season, and 23rd of his career, coming against Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder, he has cemented himself among some of Alabama's best.

Anderson now sits in fifth place for career sacks at Alabama, officially surpassing Tide great, Eric Curry. While Thomas set a mark that is unlikely to ever be topped, recording 52 sacks over the course of a three-year career, Anderson is within striking distance of second place.

Jonathan Allen currently resides in second with his career 28.5 sacks, but with an entire junior season remaining for Anderson, it's likely we will see a new name in second place soon.

For now, the Crimson Tide are locked in a battle with the Bearcats, hoping to make their second straight trip to the national title game.
