Alabama DB Zabien Brown “We’re Everybody’s Super Bowl”
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama welcomes Florida State this Saturday in a revenge game for the Crimson Tide after last year's 31-17 upset loss in Tallahassee. Following the loss, Alabama won 10 of its next 11 games, finishing the regular season 10-2, making an appearance in the SEC championship and the College Football Playoff. Meanwhile, Florida State went on to win two more games before a four-game losing skid halted any momentum the Seminoles built after the week one victory.

To start the 2026 season, the Crimson Tide is 2-0 with a road win in the SEC under its belt; meanwhile, Florida State struggled with New Mexico State and fell at home to SMU before an early bye week to prepare for its first road trip of the season to Tuscaloosa. Despite the current trajectory of the two programs, junior defensive back Zabien Brown knows the Seminoles will come to Tuscaloosa with their best stuff.
"We're Bama, that's what we expect from everybody," Brown told reporters on Tuesday morning. "We're everybody's Super Bowl, and we expect to get everybody's best shot. We want nothing less.
Florida State gave Alabama its best shot a season ago in the 31-17 upset that saw Seminoles' fans dancing on the grass after they stormed the field. While much of this year's Alabama roster was with the Crimson Tide last season in Tallahassee, some of the key contributors weren't. What is his message to those who will see Florida State for the first time?
"I'm sure they've seen it all over the media, so it's not something that needs to be overly brought up, but everybody knows about it."
No. 10 Alabama will host Florida State on Saturday, September 19. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
