When the Chicago Cubs open the gates to Wrigley Field on Sunday night, fans will get their first look at the ballpark's first video board.

The Wrigley restoration project began immediately after the end of the 2014 season with the most noticeable area of improvement coming to the outfield bleachers. While that seating won't be ready when opening night arrives, the video board will be present.

There are plenty of benefits to bringing the ballpark into the 21st century, but the huge jumbotron looks out of place right now.

Surely everything will come together nicely when the five-year renovation is complete. And with the long list of potential stars in the Cubs organization, the updated park could soon be hosting a World Series celebration.
