Nolen, a stocky interior defender, has shown elite run stopping ability in his high school career, recording 92 total tackles his sophomore season in 2019. 247Sports' Barton Simmons evaluated Nolen, emphasizing his quick first step and block shedding ability. Simmons compared Nolen to current Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver who wreaked havoc on opposing offensive lines this season.
