Alabama Announces Homecoming Date and Opponent
The University of Alabama has announced its homecoming game for the 2026 season, set for October 24th, 2026, against the Texas A&M Aggies.

Alabama has not played the Aggies since the 2023 season, when the Tide won 26-20. The Crimson Tide leads the series against the Aggies 13-3, with the first matchup being played on January 1st, 1941. The Tide currently has a two-game winning streak against Texas A&M and looks to extend it to a three-game win streak.
Returning to Tuscaloosa for the first time is former Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton, who left the Tide and signed with the Aggies in the transfer portal. In his time with the Crimson Tide, Horton accumulated 511 yards on 42 receptions and eight touchdowns. The Tide welcomes an Aggies roster that has retained key players, including quarterback Marcel Reed, and wide receivers Ashton Bethel-Roman and Mario Craver.
The Tide will be rolling onto the field with a new quarterback who remains to be named, but has some key defensive players who returned for the 2026 season. Linebacker Yhonzae Pierre, safeties Bray Hubbard and Keon Sabb, and cornerback Zabien Brown are among the returning players on the defensive side of the ball. On offense, standout wide receiver Ryan Williams is staying in Tuscaloosa as he enters his junior year.
Alabama kicks off the 2026 season with its home opener against the East Carolina Pirates on Saturday, September 5th, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
