Alabama AD Greg Byrne Discusses Home-and-Home Series with Texas
The future schedule is starting to pick up with the Alabama Crimson Tide setting the stage for some intriguing match-ups.
Last month, the Crimson Tide has scheduled a home-and-home series with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and now the Crimson Tide has added another big name program for a series and that's the Texas Longhorns.
The last time these two teams met was in the 2010 BCS National Championship game in Pasadena, California where the Crimson Tide defeated the Longhorns 37-21.
Greg Byrne, athletic director for the University of Alabama, joined The Game with Ryan Fowler live from the Region's Traditions celebrity golf Pro-Am to discuss Nick Saban's golf game, Alabama scheduling home-and-home series with Texas and Notre Dame.
He also discussed community service from the student-athletes and thoughts on the Supreme Court ruling on sports betting and it’s impacted on college football.
